Install in windows x64 branch of program files
Title says it all, seems to default to the x86 (32bits) branch of program files where plastic itself is not installed on 64 bits systems.

Fixed, in fact, we have changed the installer. Also, we recommend you to install on the local user directory (default given directory). This way, no administrator privileges are required to install and the semanticmerge can be self-updating more easily :)

Yep. It seems it is an issue with our installer software (default Visual Studio installer generator), for some reason it gets confused and while the whole thing runs on 64b... it puts it under 32
