Sync with server
Quite simple, sync with server button which completely wipes out any local changes and restores a workspace to whatever changeset that you are on.
We have to implement batch files to clean up things on the client side which get generated when we switch around from branch to branch, and it would be nice to have a button in the GUI alongside update workspace, that says sync to the server.

Teamcity plugin update
We need to update this, and potentially the Jenkins plugin at the same time.
Any SCM is part of a stack in a production environment, usually tied to automation if that is set up and we need to bring plastic scm out of the dark ages and towards functionality that other scm providers have.
Alternative triggers would be a good start. For example attribute changes on a branch could trigger specific builds, a label change could trigger a build.
It allows you to parameterize the attribute/label information inside the automation suite and then you can use that as a parameter…

Remove SCM from Plastic SCM for easy pronunciation.
What's the chance that Unity will remove the letters SCM from Plastic SCM, just to make it sound a more friendly product? No one knows what SCM means anyway...

This uservoice tool doesn't support PNG, only png
I dare you to upload image.PNG to a new idea.
Now rename it to image.png and upload it, you'll find that it only works in lowercase? Not really a big deal, but apparently the windows 10 snipping tool really loves uppercase letters on extensions, so that ends up being the default experience using this tool when trying to make a quick screengrab.

Diff window should more clearly mark EOL changes
Right now if you switch it to view EOL changes it will just highlight the entire line Red, which isn't very obvious that all I did was switch the line endings. I think the diff window should have the line ending type shown in plain text. It can be subtle like dark text next to the changeset description.
A decent reference for this is the tool "Beyond Compare" which shows the type of line endings towards the top1 vote -
Add standard "File", "View" etc. menu bar
All Windows and Mac applications have a standard "File", "View", "Help" etc. menu. The current left-hand menu is fine, but "Preferences" and "About" should be removed and moved to a new standard menu.

Better ways to view long comments in history panel (new gui)
Viewing comments in the history panel is pretty painful.
-It's not possible to view an entire comment for the history of a Folder
-Double clicking on a history entry for a folder makes the program not know what to open (should this open in explorer or a diff tool?)
-Double clicking should ALWAYS "Diff Changeset". This is likely more common then opening up a temp file with that particular revision.
-Long comments should have tooltips with the Entire comment (really all panels should have this feature)1 vote -

Editing Permissions should show proper names of commands
When viewing permissions for a given repo it lists commands. Unfortunately many of these commands are just the commands (ex "ci"). These should be the actual words for the command and put the command in quotes. It should also have tooltips describing what each command does, how it's used, and recommendations for permissions.
Example: "Checkin (ci)"
Example Tooltip: The default "ci" command checks in all added files. With ci --all you're telling Plastic: detect everything that changed and perform a checkin. And all means: files that are changed, deleted or moved. We can also include private files by using ci…1 vote -
Signing out should have buttons on the GUI
Signing out of Plastic SCM is basically impossible in the GUI. Or it's just really hidden. It should be in a more accessible spot in the GUI.

Make customextensions.conf available from global config
The customextensions.conf can only be configured clientside while such extensions are often to be applied accross entire teams/companies.
Making it available trough the global config would take away the burden of manually updating each users client file.7 votes -
To distribute your linux packages using AppImages or Flatpacks.
If you distributed your packages as AppImages or Flatpacks it'd be easier for you (the developer) to mantain and for us (the users) to install since it'd became distro agnostics.

Provide the integration plugins separately from the installer
I shouldn't have to reinstall Plastic just to add a plugin to an IDE, that is ludicrous. Simply provide the plugins as downloads somewhere.

Allow to delete a changeset even if a shelve was done after it
I don't understand why a changeset can't be deleted if I have a shelve.
In my case it wouldn't have created any conflict.3 votes -
Export csv or md of selection of changesets or specific branch
when generating md files for a list of changes, have to do this manually with copy paste, it would be nice to select a set of changesets and have it automagically export to a spreadsheet
