Better handling of dark theme in Linux
Using a dark theme with the linux build ends up with some pretty glaring white backdrops to things and lots of unreadable text.
It seems Plastic isn't using the supplied gtk theme colours, but instead has hardcoded colours for certain things.

This would be great. At least for some of the major painpoints, like comparing text-differences. With the current color schema in dark mode it is very hard to see.
Changing system theme just for one tool is not really acceptable.
(Also, it is 2021, isn't everyone using dark theme nowadays? ;) ) -

Hi,
You are right, we should use the supplied themes.
We plan to fix all these issues and add better themes for both Linux and MacOS clients, but it is something that requires time and it is not going to be fast.I'm sorry for the inconveniences.
Best,
Héber.
