Keep/Persist Pending Changes Comments
It would be very useful if there was a way to automatically save comments entered into the Pending Changes/Comments text box such that if you reopened the Pending Changes window the previously entered comments were not lost. I believe most other SC clients do this (TortoiseHg/Svn/SourceTree).

There is already a combo box with “checkin comments” where all the previously used comments are stored :-)

Hi, your comment doesn't address the issue stated. The comments combo box only has comments for changesets that have been committed. This issue is if you have filled out the comments for a pending commit but then accidentally close it down, then you lose all the comments.

Yes. But if you read the request it is describing something different. If you begin typing a comment and close the tab, the comment is lost.
