An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Cramer commentedI am thinking of a workflow for new projects and yes it basically creates a repo with some branch names and possibly even some default files... Like .gitIgnore and .ignore files.
My methodology is Production->Test->Development->TaskXXX
A kind of scaffolding for branches.

Actually we started doing this on the new Mac and Linux GUIs :-) The new GameUI also supports this mechanism. Soon we’ll have it on the regular Windows GUI.

Plastic SCM 10.0.16.5668
https://www.plasticscm.com/download/releasenotes/10.0.16.5668Windows – Plastic: Auto-update!
Now you can update Plastic on Windows to the latest version from within the application itself.
When Plastic detects that a new version is available, the help panel will display a notification telling you which version is available. On the help panel is a link to download the latest version.

So every time Plastic comes out with a new feature that I really want I need to go about updating these. Would be so much better to just have a setting to auto update. Server Updates are bit trickier but still doable with less user intervention.

https://github.com/github/gitignore Is a nice repo of helpful ignores if only plastic had the same or could just use the .gitignore
