Sure, here you are: http://snag.gy/Y0S9Q.jpg. WinMerge shows you changes both in vertical and horizontal panes. The horizontal ones are useful when there are changes in a long line that does not fit in the vertical panes.

I forgot to mention that the horizontal pane displays only one block of changes at a time - the one highlighted in vertical panes above it.

I mean the regular diff view. Please note that it only has the Open and Open with... options in the context menu, whereas Pending changes view has an Open menu option with a submenu that contains three static options (Open, Open with..., Open in Windows Explorer), and below them there is a list of custom open with options defined by the user.
So I mean that these custom open with options would also be useful in the diff view.
On the other hand, in the Pending changes view there is a double click action assigned to files (external diff), but there is no such action in the diff view.
