    Hi Joshua,

    I've been checking with the team. I'm not sure if you know you can use wildcards in the search. You can type bug*core* and it will find any file that matches the pattern.

    That being said, we plan to add an indexing system, that will index both data and metadata. I'm not sure yet, but probably it will be able to find what you are looking for.

    Right now all we do is to walk the file tree and run a search on every file, so to implement what you are asking for we should probably apply some sort of matching, running on each name for every word and only returning true if all the words match. Doable, but then it would be hard to explain the current mechanism. We are a little bit lost about this. Probably the multi-word search is more powerful than the wild cards, but we are not sure.

    You are right, we should use the supplied themes.
    We plan to fix all these issues and add better themes for both Linux and MacOS clients, but it is something that requires time and it is not going to be fast.

    Each new release is announced in the GUI by the GUI Help Owl.
    There is no automated process for upgrading the client, but we have plans to add it.

    Hi,

    There is an option in the preferences window where you can set the comparison method to ignore EOLs and whitespaces. It is in the Diff and Merge tab.

    Hi,
    We are not fans of deleting things per se. What you can do is a subtractive merge. It will revert all the changes from a commit, but keep the history of it.
    You can do this by selecting the changeset> Advanced Merge> Subtractive Merge

    Hi,
    There is an option to open the file in the file explorer from the Workspace explorer view.
    But, if I'm not wrong, what you want is an option to open the file from the diff view. Am I right?

    Hi SWBB!

    We contacted the folks at SonarQube and they told us the following:

    "You’re welcome to look at / copy the source of our open source SCM plugins to write your own. Feel free to open new threads here with specific development questions. And in case you’re interested, here are the rulesfor Marketplace inclusion."

    So, well, any help would be welcome. We'll also try to develop it and make it open, but not sure when we'll be able to start.
