In Branch Explorer on Windows, zoom by mouse wheel
In the Plastic GUI on Windows, make the mouse wheel zoom the Branch Explorer / 2D History instead of scrolling it horizontally. It should work as in the Linux gtkplastic client.

What you suggest is how it used to work long ago, and we changed it.
Now wheel moves horizontally, shift-wheel vertically, and ctrl-wheel does zoom, which is quite common on other apps too.
In https://www.plasticscm.com/download/releasenotes/5.4.16.701 we made the Linux GUI behavior consistent with the other platforms too.

OK, thanks! Now the Linux and Windows clients work the same way. The more similar you can make the 3 platforms, the better! I understand that there are different OS conventions, but the differences between the 3 Plastic GUIs currently go way beyond that...

OK, I see your point.

We can't do the same on the 3 platforms because each version has to adapt to the operating system.
In Mac it already follows the Mac standards, same it does on Windows.
We'll be checking what to do on Linux.
It reminds me an issue reported by a customer a few months ago: he told us that the OK|Cancel buttons were not consistent across platforms... and yes, he's right, but it is not our fault, but Windows/Mac/Linux UI designers... That's why we can't do the same on the 3 platforms, because if we do, users will complain saying "behave as you should on each OS" :-)

(Or are you going to make the GTK client work the same way?)

Why don't you keep your 3 platform-GUIs unified? Very confusing when moving between platforms...
