Server dropdown
Recently I have to switch between servers very often. In office it's intranet - at home a vpn. But there is just one input box which allows only a single url which is very inconvenient to use.
Much better would be to have a dropdown with all the server addresses being used.
The checkbox for "ssl" should be obsolete. You can determine if it's ssl connection from the address itself: "ssl://".
We will review what we can do to make finding “profiles” chapter in the docu easier.
It is actually documented in the following links:

Added a new uservoice specific to the cumbersome task of having to enter server URL in textbox everytime we need to switch servers in the Repositories view:

Oh thanks, profiles are what I was looking for. But it is not self explaining how to use this feature. Not a single hit in google for a documentation. I tried to double click on a profile to change it and was looking for a gui button to switch between the profiles. Anyways, I figured it out. When changing the active workspace the connection seems to grab the right profile.

Hi,
Not sure why you need this.
I mean, you can use profiles, for instance, and then you forget about changing your client wide settings each time you switch server, don't you?
Alternatively you can always start plastic -clientconf=path_to_your_client_conf_file, and you can have different client.confs for different servers, then different shortcuts to start your GUI at the office or home.
