Close Diff / Merge tools with escape button
Allow Diff / Merge tools to be closed with escape button - very helpful when perform comparison of multiple files before Check In from Visual Studio.
Shouldn’t you use standard CTRL-F4 to close it? It works on every windows app, doesn’t it? :)

Declined? Really?
First of all, ctrl-F4 doesn't work for me at all. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. All other diff tools I've used has had the close on ESC key ability. Right now I have to hit Alt+F4 or click the tiny x with the mouse. The problem with Alt+F4 is that I'm not always 100% sure that SematicMerge has focus. so then I'm left with ALT+TAB to make sure the right window has focus or with the mouse.
I really like what I see in Semantic merge, but I seemed to get slowed down in this aspect.

Yes, Ctrl+F4 works in tab/child windows and Alt+F4 in popup/top-level windows. However, it's not as quick as the Escape key. This is all about tweaking the UI to perfection...
I think this point is most relevant for the popup/top-level windows and not so much for the tab/child ones? Most of the Diff/Merge tool I've tried has had the ability (as an option or by default) to quit the window by Escape key as well as Alt+F4 (TortoiseMerge, KDiff3, WinMerge, SourceGear DiffMerge etc)...
