  1. While working in VS 2010 (run as Administrator) at some point while trying to do a checkin I get a message like:

"The type initializer for '196379271' threw an exception.
    Method not found: 'Void 1829760192.1231065091(1909317638,Mono.VisualStudio.TargetAddress)'."

From this point on I have to restart VS or use the stand alone client to do anything with Plastic.

I get a message like: "Another operation is already running".

  2. Currently Plastic says that the the branch you selected to create and use to checkin the changes there does not exist?!?!?

If you try to create it without checking in anything you don't get any messages and nothing happens.

It would be best to warn the user that the branch name contains forbidden character.

  5. When revision controlled files is deleted from disk and refresh is done on pending changes it is updated very slow. It can take minutes.

The workaround is to go to Items. Marked the deleted files from the list and select "Update forced". Then the refresh is fast again.

But I think refresh in PlasticScm should detect deleted files automatically and handle it in a better way.

  8. It would be wonderful to have a feature where you can specify inside Plastic when a branch is ready to be merged and the task is done!

I'm trying to use the Task Per Branch and it's kind of annoying ask the others about the status of a task or a group of tasks.

Something like "change the branch's background color" to set it as a ended task.

You could expand this idea and integrate your own Task Management System. :)

Never got an answer. It can be slow depending on the actual disk IO performance. Slow ones go slow… true for any other SCM too :P

  11. This would make keeping the SQL databases clean a lot easier. Right now, you have to use another tool (SSMS) to remove the repository databases after you've finished with them.

I think this one is extremely risky. Deleting the DB should be a task for the dba.

  12. Make the initial date display option, in the BrEx, optional, like the end date. When the initial date is not enabled, then the initial date would be the creation date of cset:0 or the earliest cset.
