  1. When you browse the historical changesets of a particular file in your workspace, the context menu only allows for "Open" and "Open with". It would be helpful to have the ability to "Save" the file to your local filesystem. I'm using macplastic.

  3. The cli command merge needs a --comment parameter when used with the --to parameter. Now, all these merges have no comment at all.

Also: It would be nice if the merge-to wouldn't need a workspace, when called with fully qualified src and dest.

The option to set the comment is -c= and it’s already available although it’s not documented. We will fix the documentation.

    Example:
    cm merge br:/main/ —to=br:/main/task001 -c=“Integrated new UI”

The merge-to no longer needs a workspace. It has been fixed at 7.0.16.2185

    Best regards

  4. Occasionally I forget to refresh the pending changes view before a Checkin. This is annoying as immediately after the checkin operation then view automatically refreshes, sometimes revealing changes that missed the checkin!

  5. It'd be great if ctrl+backspace could delete whole words in the commit message (as implemented in Plastic SCM), rather than unknown character symbol

  6. As far as I can tell, the version number of the Gluon client isn't displayed anywhere. I'd expect it to be in Title area where "Plastic gluon" is displayed, as there's no real menu where the About convention could be followed.

Done! We are happy to announce you can now check the version at the “About” from in Gluon.

    [New]
Gluon for Windows: We added an option menu button in the top right corner that allows you to display the preferences and the about dialogs.

Gluon for Linux: We added a button in the left sidebar that displays the about dialog.

  7. VS 2022 is officially released now, so plastic scm should provide an extension, just like VS 2019.
