Since the latest release it's possible to close the tabs in the caption area.
Great feature but I would like one more enhancement, a non closeable tab (preferably the first tab on the right) that contains non workspace related subtabs like Your Workspaces, Your Repositories Rss Notification and Sync replication (not sure about Shelves).
This way the workspace related tabs stay cleaner (and smaller).15 votes
Actually we started doing this on the new Mac and Linux GUIs :-) The new GameUI also supports this mechanism. Soon we’ll have it on the regular Windows GUI.
Please change the "Server:" textbox into a dropdown, containing the most recent servers used, or the server profiles we have setup, or both!
We should not have to enter the full server URL every time we need to switch servers, it becomes really cumbersome! Also, the effort spent on adding server profiles in Preferences is a bit wasted if it's not usable in all places like this one...3 votes
We are on it.
Each user in our organization has to set up their own conditional format rules. We would like it if there was a way to set this up once, and push it to all of the other users.63 votes
Glad to say we started working on this, and will be available soon.
In the global config (special repo: plastic-global-config) one can put a "<repo>/workspacetree/" sub-directory for keeping the following files:
* writable.conf / readonly.conf
* semanticexcluded.conf (suggested?)
This idea could be extended to normal repos! Being able to put all these .conf-files under a "workspacetree" directory in the repository (or local workspace) root would reduce the clutter and make it easier to locate these config-files.
NOTE - The semanticexcluded.conf file does not currently work in these scenarios, but there is another uservoice suggesting that it should: https://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/13439505-make-semanticexcluded-conf-file-work-from-wkspace0 votes
Working on it!
The semanticexcluded.conf file can be used to control which file extensions are consider for Semantic Diff.
Currently, this file only has an effect if it's put in %LocalAppData%/plastic4/.
Just as for the ignored.conf file, for greater flexibility this file should work also when placed in:
* Workspace (or repository) root.
* Global config (rep:plastic-global-config, folder <repo>/workspacetree/6 votes
Working on it!
- Don't see your idea?
