Branch Explorer: make selection and search results more visible!
Please do not use fill-color to indicate the selected changeset/branch and the search results in Branch Explorer! Here's why:
When using the fantastic feature of changeset and branch coloring (by user / replication-src and by conditional format), it becomes a mess trying to spot the additional altered-color of selection / search-result.
I have earlier requested a way to change the (changeset / branch) border-color (independently for selection and search-result) into something more different than the current slightly altered gray shade. That would be a start, but I'd prefer to have also an even more eye-catching indication!
Here are some suggestions:
* A small icon, like the Home changeset (for changesets only)
* A thicker border-line (for changeset / branch)
* An additional outer indication, a bit like the indication for a label (for changeset / branch)
Done! :-) We made changes in the selection in 6.0 and now it is public

To keep these uservoices separated: This one is not about colors, it's specifically about adding additional visual indicators for selection and search results (icons, thickness, double borders etc).

The mentioned request to customize Branch Explorer colors now has a uservoice: https://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/18890365-make-all-branch-explorer-colors-customizable

In .791, this was improved: "The colors of the selections have been modified so that now it is very clear when you are doing multi-selection (colors are subject to change in coming releases because we are still testing combinations)."
The black border is more easily distinguished, but it is too close in hue to the marker around the latest changeset on each branch! (Do we really need these?)
The green/purple fill color is overriding any per-user or per-branch-attribute coloring, but that is a minor issue...
The selected branch is now easy to spot, but for selected changeset(s) an icon would be even nicer and then we could keep the per-user color even on selected changesets.
