Visual Studio 2010 hangs 1-5 sec after trying to save a file change
All 4.1.10.X versions do the same. A few seconds after a file which was not checked out is saved looks like Plastic tries to checkout the file asynchronously and locks up Visual Studio.
This happens 10 out of 10 times with me.
Fixed. The fix will be available in the next Plastic SCM release, that will be published along this week (two or three days).

Still an issue with 4.1.10.296...
The only way to use anything out of the VS integration is by running in disconnected mode. One of our team members switched into using GIT locally because he was pissed with the constant errors. I still have some patience and faith in you left. Hopefully you will get this basic stuff working before I am forced to move to GIT too...

Actually the only way not to hang is if both the pending checkins and the branch explorer windows are closed. Then Plastic does not try to check the file out and the Solution Explorer is not updated either.
So basically if we want to continue working with Plastic and not be forced to restart VS after every checkout we have to turn the VS integration off...

Checked the 280 version and there is still an issue.
1. Copy some text from one file.
2. Choose a non-checked out file and paste the text there.
3. Press Ctrl+S to save.
4. Hang VS 2010. -
Yes I do. I tried disabling the solution wide analysis but the result was the same.

Vladimir, I have a question, do you have installed Resharper in your VS?

The only time it doesn't hang is when I edit the file without opening it (when a Replace in Files operation runs).

This one doesn't look right at all.
I already emailed the guys on the VS plugin.
We'll check first time tomorrow morning.
