  2. I can close it, but it appears again next time I open a file. This is really enoying, I don't need it for most files. I want to keep it closed by default.

  5. The direction of arrows from child to parent is confusing a bit for us. I suggest you add an option to turn the direction of these arrows optionally.
(Add the option to branchexplorer.cfg, similar to display.options.dag_mergelinks=true)

Available now in Plastic SCM 4.1.10.443!

A new configuration option has been added to display the changeset
arrows in the Branch Explorer from parent to children (instead of the
opposite, which is the default behaviour). In order to use it the user
must add the following line in the branchexplorer.cfg file:

    display.options.show_parent_to_child_arrows=true
  6. Would be really nice to be able to just right-click on a file in the Item list view on the Pending Changes screen and select an option to "Undo pending changes"...as opposed to the way the system currently forces you to undo changes, which is to "check" the file(s) you want to undo changes for, and then click the "Undo changes" button on the toolbar.

  7. In spite of this idea is similar to http://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/2982727-add-ssl-wildcard-certificate-support but all the same I've decided write it in separate topic.

I've tried to use sertificate with SAN (Subject Alternative Name) extention and was failed with one. The main subject of my certificate, for example, is www.domain.tld (i.e. CN=www.domain.tld) but there is also record for SAN like this:
    X509v3 Subject Alternative Name:
    DNS:www.domain.tld, DNS:domain.tld

So this certificate validates two domains and as I know such type of certificates is widely used (of cause, often by small teams J) so it would be good to support it.

  8. Using the client GUI, I can browse items in a changset (that I did not switch to; not in my workspace), but I would like to annotate a file in this view as well.
Currently, I'm forced to switch to this changset and then run annotate.

  9. I'm dealing with a repositories for multi-platform code. There is a lot of files, and most of them are unnecessary for developers of one or another platform, but still they have to be maintained/versioned together for coherency. So, I would like to have a way for the developers to get the right version, but only part of the directory tree (one or many specific directories) to avoid big update times and wasted disk space.

  10. We have a lot of repositories and I find myself often trying to create a new Workspace from the Repositories list.

  11. Your site is so nice, just like your product. I don't want to see it blemished by a typo. The last sentence in David Suarez's bio is duplicated.

  12. While naming branches after task #id numbers is a very effective organizational scheme, when quickly visually browsing in branch explorer it would be helpful to see more information about the branch. The comments field is a great place to describe the branch in more detail, but viewing the comments requires clicking on each branch of interest. Instead, it would be fantastic if the first sentence of the branch comment could be displayed under the branch name in the branch explorer diagram view. This short description of the branch could be extracted from the comment field using the same popular "autobrief"…

  13. While Plastic SCM does allow CA wildcard SSL certificates to be used, and all communication is secure, when first launching the application a dialog pops up with the following :-

WARNING: the hostname provided in the server certificate doesn't match the server's hostname. This means that the certificate was not issued to this hostname or that there is a network configuration problem with this host.

    • Certificate hostname: CN=*.domain.com
    • Server hostname: CN=host.domain.com

If you want to continue connecting to this host, choose 'Yes'. The certificate validation will continue (not recommended).
If you want to abandon the connection, choose 'No' (recommended).

  15. Currently the OSX client uses X11, is quirky, and sometimes crashes. Maybe we could use a native version of the OSX client!

  16. I know it's possible to have changesets colored by replication source as part of a DrBrEx, but would it be possible to add a Display Option to color changesets by User? It seems like it might be easy to add another filter for this.

I did try the "Conditional Format" options, but this seems like it might be for branches only.

  17. Currently, the blue icon is hard to see, red one is ok. green one is ok. but the problem is decerning the blue in the middst of all the other ones. either have choice of large or small icons or allow us to change to one with more pronounced color.
