  1. When differing or merging code, would be great if we could have some syntax highlights to other languages like C#, Java.
Add syntax highlight like Visual Studio to .cshtml, .css, .js and etc.
    Something like notepad++ does.

  2. If a line of text is indented using tabs and the line is edited by typing in Result file box in a Merge Tool, then the indentation is modified to spaces. The indentation should not be modified!

It has been finished this week! And it will integrated in the build 268 on Tuesday, and we will make it public next week.

  4. Please add buttons to change the order of conditional format rules. They are check from top to bottom and the first hit is used. When I add a more specific rule this should be above all the other rules, but new rules are added at the bottom, so I need to remember all rules, delete them and recreate them in the right order...

  6. I know it's possible to have changesets colored by replication source as part of a DrBrEx, but would it be possible to add a Display Option to color changesets by User? It seems like it might be easy to add another filter for this.

I did try the "Conditional Format" options, but this seems like it might be for branches only.

  7. Added and private items behave differently than all other three types of changes (Changed, Deleted, Moved). They are not really changes, actually. I think they should be separated more clearly. Now, it is not so easy to understand why Added and private items do not respond to Undo changes (http://www.plasticscm.net/index.php?/topic/1251-updated-list-of-feature-requests/) and on the other side it is easy to overlook some deleted or moved items which are listed bellow Private items (http://www.plasticscm.net/index.php?/topic/1291-some-ux-issues/#entry8989).

  9. A checkin comments history drop down list is quite narrow and a lot of our comments don't fit there and end with ellipsis. When somebody use two or more comments with a same beginning, he or she cannot differ between them.
It shouldn't be a problem to make it wider and/or add a popup with the whole text on a mouseover.

  10. Plastic currently only supports basic LDAP integration.

In real-world scenarios, things aren't as clear cut and simple.
I propose extending LDAP support in the following ways:

    1. Support secure LDAP (LDAPs). Including self-signed certificates on the LDAPs server.
    2. Ability to specify Root DN.
    3. Ability to specify User search Base.
    4. Ability to specify User search filter (ie, something like sAMAccountName={0}).
    5. Ability to Specify Group Search Base.
    6. Ability to Specify Group Search Filter ((& (cn={0}) (objectclass=group) ))
    7. Group Membership definitions (can optimize with memberOf property).
    8. Configurable Local Caching of credentials, TTL etc ....

    Hi,

We have released the following task. it’s compatible with the new .NET Core Plastic server:

    [New] 9.0.16.4227

Server: secure LDAP connections now supported on port 636

We added support to the Plastic server for SSL connections to your LDAP server.

Configure your server (using the “plasticd configure” command, or the web based administration tool) to switch the LDAP port from 389 to 636 to take advantage of a secure connection to LDAP, assuming your LDAP server is configured to support this.

    Regards,

    Carlos.

  11. First double click on a comment in a Code review tool takes you to the file containing the commented line and only the second double click takes you to the commented line. I don’t see the reason for such behavior; it is irritating actually. It would be nice, if the first double click takes you directly to the commented line without the need to switch to that file in a separated step.

  12. I found myself many times to mistakenly open a revision of a file instead of showing a diff, when clicking on a changeset in a History or a History Graph of a file (not in a history of a directory or the overall history = Changesets / Branch Explorer). I think it would be more consistent to open always diffs by default.

  14. Most of my files are text files, although they have various file extensions (sql, txt, src, srd, etc). Each time I right-click to open it, I have to go to Open With... and select my text editor. It would be nice to be able to define a default 'open with' application.

  16. Jira integration should be able to transition an issue once it is checked in to PlasticSCM with a tag like [FIXED], and then this will move the issue in Jira to the 'Ready for QA' column in the workflow. It should maintain in the information who committed the change, the changeset, any details available.

  17. Allow the user to close a workspace tab, without it being removed from the All Workspaces list. Should then be able to re-open the workspace from the All Workspaces list.

  18. At least the simple one as it is in an internal diff. However, it should be enabled by default (and/or remember that I enabled it). It would be even better if it was able to use the syntax highlighting automatically according to a file extension.

  20. Highlight (e.g. in bold) the current loaded revision in an item history, and similarly the current changeset in changesets view and the current branch in branches view.
